These stamps are great! As a mixed media artist, I enjoy using stenciled or stamped elements to my work. These large stamps print in the negative, so they are work well for overprinting a painted or patterned surface - the number itself will be in the underlying color or pattern, surrounded by the printed negative space. I love the vintage feel, the slight "wonky-ness" of the size and dimensions, and that woodblock look that creates a more powerful image than finely detailed rubber stamps. While you may use these for dates, numbered lists, etc they also are well suited to add a random "industrial" graphic look to your work.
But then they are by Cavallini. Their products are always wonderful!
