Exceptional Book, Great Gift. Two thumbs up !Nov 20, 2009
By likeitis This looked like a great book and I had never heard of these authors or photographer doing a book, but after seeing it, they should do more.
This is not just for Oregon wine lovers, but all wine lovers. The photographs are nothing short of stunning. The writing is informative and entertaining. This book is a must have for serious lovers and collectors of American Wines. If you're going to visit Oregon, it's essential.
A book for the Wine Cellar, coffee table, cocktail party and such a great gift I am getting two more. I hope the Kings do more of these.

California has nothing on Oregon!May 21, 2010

Wow! I had no idea Oregon had so many wineries -- or that so many of them were so picturesque. Out here in New Jersey we have about 25 wineries/vineyards but most of them are just added to a farm or are in concrete houses.
This book shows the beauty of Oregon and the quaint buildings where the tastings take place. Fourteen wineries are covered complete with text about the type of wine they offer and other amenities. One is actually a bed and breakfast!
This is a coffee-table book with striking pictures. Should make the perfect gift for that wine-loving relative or friend. There's even a picture of a yummy-looking well-stocked gift shop at one of the wineries -- this book should be sitting right next to the cash register there! Beautifully done -- will make you want to set out and start your own winery in the Pacific Northwest!
