 Good intro to Escher puzzlesSep 07, 2010

This is one of the easiest Escher puzzles by Pomegranate. The thick green border makes it relatively easy to assemble, and the large blocks of solid color with very little repetition help a novice to find the right part. Compared to other puzzles in the series, it may take as little as half the time of other titles (especially the House of Stairs puzzle) to assemble. Even so, it took me about 30 hours to complete.
From a material point of view, I've been very happy with all Pomegranate puzzles. The pieces are even more solid than those from Ravensburger, and they are very well cut. I haven't had any pieces sticking together when I opened the box, and all puzzles fit together beautifully.
Highly recommended for all obsessive compulsive individuals.

This is a pretty tough puzzle. All black and white w/ a lot of similar shapes and designs everywhere. I'm not sure how long it took, but I'd say probably somewhere around 35-40hrs to fully put together.
By the time I got done, I didn't even want to think about putting it together at a later date so I glued it together onto some black painted cardboard w/ this stuff Springbok Jigsaw Puzzle Saver Glue and put it in, I believe, this frame 22x28 / 22 x 28 Satin Black Picture Frame - NEW .. 1.25'' wide and it looks pretty cool on the wall.

Yikes! This puzzle is only for the truly advanced puzzle maker. It is Quite difficult to put it mildly. Puzzle itself is of fine quality.

This puzzle is very difficult, in my opinion. That was what I was looking for. It is also much sturdier than I imagined; the pieces are thick and well-cut. There aren't pieces still stuck together by the cardboard from the manufacturing process like I see in so many other puzzles.
